Winter time, Booking time!!

With the cold weather setting in, it seems that picture season is almost over!  I did several engagements and family shots while the fall colors were still with us, but what about recently?

I did alot of charity work while things were slowing down.  I shot the Jesus Prom for Southland Christian church, which was really rewarding!  I'm looking forward to doing it again next year.  On December 11, I will be doing some Help Portraits with my photography group.  We will be shooting families of low income for free to help make their Christmas more merry!

I've also been taking bookings for 2012!  Four have already confirmed, and I have meetings with two more this week.  Never a slow moment in the photography biz!

Today's engagement shoot was at Shakertown, and we had so much fun!  Shelly wanted to feed the goats.  Unfortunately, they liked her hair better than their regular food!  And don't you just love the tattoo shots?  Really cool!

What an amazing engagement shoot!  The weather was cool, but beautiful, and Meghan and Travis were so much fun!  They laughed, they twirled, they rolled in the grass.........................

Boudoir, Anyone??

Yes, I have entered the world of Boudoir Photography!  I can't share the portraits, but let me just say that they were amazing!  My lovely subject has already been showing off her portraits, and I am highly anticipating many more awesome boudoir sessions.  I'm even thinking about offering Boudoir Parties!  It would me a fun time for everyone.  I was thinking about offering champagne, snack trays, chick flicks, while giving each guest a mini-boudoir session of one clothing selection and one location.  About 3 hours of fun, pampering, and girly stuff, then some wonderfully sexy images for their significant other.  Any thoughts?

Sagan and Adam at Talon Winery

Wow!  What a wedding!  It was just a little bit nippy out, and the winds were blowing even the most hairsprayed head, but that didn't stop Sagan and Adam!  They decorated everything themselves, from the glittered pumpkins to the homemade jelly!  The Ball jars and burlap were especially pleasing for an old country girl like myself!  There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and not a bit of shade to be found in the winery, which made it a little bit more difficult to shoot, but I think things turned out okay.  The sunset shots at the dock were a blast!
