Flashlight Photography Fun
This is a real hoot! Get into a dark room. Have your subject hold a flashlight. Set you camera to manual focus, aperture around 5.6, shutter speed at somewhere between 5 and 15 seconds. Since this is a very long shutter speed, you will need a tripod. Focus on your subject. You may to to have them flash the flashlight at his/her face to help with the focus. Press the button for a picture. Now, it the 5/15 seconds that follow, draw something with the flashlight. Hearts, flowers, frames, whatever! When the picture is finally taken, you will see a light drawing that was made with the flashlight. Kids love it!
